Alfred's much younger wife. She is secretly followed by a detective and seen entering her secretary's hotel room. She later confesses to Alfred that she visited the room to search for her sister Barbara, having become trapped inside after spotting the detective spying on the building. She is devoted and forgiving of her husband's erratic behavior.
