A rival cowboy and Kitty's chosen suitor. After losing money gambling, he conspires with Will Parsons to steal cattle, leaving a photo at the scene that implicates Howard. When falsely accused, he remains silent during Howard's sacrifice, later tries to elope with Kitty, but is exposed when Parsons returns with the money. Forced to confess by Kitty, he faces justice alongside his accomplice.
