Morvern's best friend and coworker. Initially told her boyfriend moved abroad, she later confesses to sleeping with him. Morvern brings her to Spain, but Lanna grows frustrated with Morvern's erratic behavior, and they eventually part ways as Lanna refuses to return.
Lanna is Morvern's closest confidante and companion throughout the film.
