The youngest of 14 children in a working-class Quebec family, Aline pursues her dream of becoming a professional singer. She signs with manager Guy-Claude Kamar, achieves massive success, marries him, and builds a family. Despite becoming an international superstar, she eventually tires of touring and struggles with grief after his death.
