A widowed doctor traveling to South Africa's Mopani Reserve to reconnect with his daughters. He survives multiple rogue lion encounters, retrieves truck keys from poachers, and ultimately lures the beast into the wild pride's territory where it is killed. He recovers and returns home with his family.
