Lead detective investigating the murder of director Leo Köpernick. He is initially shadowed by rookie Constable Stalker, becomes a prime suspect after being found over a victim's body, and later collaborates with Stalker to uncover the true killer. He is shot during the climax but recovers, earning a police medal.
