Originally a villain who escapes maximum security, he kills Nathan Petrelli. Matt Parkman later alters his mind to make him believe he is Nathan. Using shapeshifting and psychometry, he assumes Nathan's identity, though his consciousness becomes trapped in Matt Parkman's mind, causing him to struggle with his forced identity and manifesting previous abilities.
