Medicine Nobel laureate and co-winner with Carlo Farelli. He initially suspects Farelli of academic dishonesty. At the hotel, he helps diagnose Max Stratman's cardiac arrest and is ultimately won over by Farelli's quick-thinking improvisation to save Max's life.
