A young peasant boy who breaks one of Thor's goat bones at Loki's urging. He travels to Asgard, runs away to the forest, receives visions of Thor's death from Odin's ravens, weeps over Thor's illusory corpse to revive him, and is eventually recognized as a man by Thor receiving a sword.
