Protagonist and son of the Inspector General. Returns from abroad, falls in love with a woman using the alias Vasanthi, and survives a plane crash. He reunites with his friend, allies with locals to fight Diwan's corrupt regime, discovers his lover is actually the princess, and ultimately kills Diwan to save Vasanthapuri.
