A friendly fairy who lives near the Magic Faraway Tree. She accidentally drops her purse in the Thompson garden and befriends the mute Fran. Silky serves as a guide to the magical realm, introduces the children to other magical inhabitants, and later becomes a victim of Mr. Oom Boom Boom before being rescued by the Thompson siblings.
