An awkward and talkative elementary school teacher who recently moved into the building. He develops a crush on Louise, fabricates an engagement with her, and brings her cat Balthazar. He suspects Spencer of the murders, proposes a trap, and ultimately kicks Spencer off the fire escape after a confrontation.
