Former SS gynecologist and professor. He authorizes the sterilization and murder of Kurt's aunt under the Nazi euthanasia program. After the war, he escapes Soviet justice by saving a camp officer's family, later sabotages his daughter's relationship with Kurt, forces an abortion, and eventually flees to West Germany.
