Jeff's ex-girlfriend who rekindles their relationship and runs the marathon to raise hospital funds. She objects to Patty's media exploitation of Jeff and moves in to support him. After discovering her pregnancy, she leaves Jeff when he panics about fatherhood and runs from his problems. She eventually watches him walk with prosthetics at a diner and accepts his renewed commitment.
