TWA pilot recruited by the CIA for reconnaissance, who transitions into smuggling Cuban cigars and cocaine for the Medellín Cartel. He transports weapons to Nicaraguan Contras, trades them for drugs, and accumulates immense wealth. After his brother-in-law's murder and his own arrest, he cooperates with the White House to gather evidence. Despite a lenient sentence, he is eventually assassinated by cartel hitmen.
