An accident-prone and free-thinking Boov who accidentally invites the enemy Gorg to Earth. Fugitive after a mistaken email, he teams up with human girl Tip to find her mother. He grows to respect humans, overthrows Captain Smek's cowardly leadership, saves Earth from the Gorg by returning a stolen artifact revealed to be an egg, and becomes the new Boov captain before befriending the Tucci family.
