An aspiring boxer working at a restaurant who initially believes he has a terminal brain tumor. After meeting Yuri, he protects her from yakuza and triad threats, eventually discovering his diagnosis was a medical error. He fights to survive with Yuri and later resumes boxing while maintaining a relationship with her.
