A debt-ridden man who hires Jang Gil-ryong to murder his father, Park Dong-sik, to collect life insurance. When the insurance payout is blocked and Gil-ryong threatens him, Jae-yeong attempts to murder Gil-ryong in an abandoned building. He is overpowered and ultimately killed by Beon-jun, whose body and identity are subsequently stolen to evade the police manhunt.
