A corrupt Sub-Inspector who allies with Bhageerathan to persecute Madhavan. He abuses his power to arrest and beat Madhavan, falsely accuses Rukmini of an affair, and steals the temple idol to frame Madhavan. He is eventually defeated by Madhavan and the villagers after his crimes are exposed.
