A scheming cowboy who initially captures Choya and shoots him after forcing him to get a tattoo. He infiltrates the Lavery ranch to orchestrate Lavery's murder so Choya can inherit the property. He is revealed to be the child's original kidnapper and ultimately dies in a stampede while pursuing the protagonists.
