A self-involved ballet dancer who loses his lover to AIDS. After his best friend Ramon dies, Tonio takes the lead role in reviving Ramon's choreography, Indian Summer. He develops a relationship with Jack, travels to Greece with him, and later experiences temporary paralysis before the performance. With support from his troupe, he performs successfully, regains his ability to walk, and mends his rift with Jack.
