Emily's adult stepson and Nadine's husband. He is distressed by his wife's attraction to Cope and his mother's oppression. Initially suspected by Poirot of the murder, he is later cleared after Poirot deduces he and his siblings merely hid the truth of Emily's death to protect themselves.
