A young maid dreaming of singing who is mistaken for Adelaid Adams and taken to Deadwood. She struggles with stage fright during her debut but wins over the crowd with honesty. She attracts both Lieutenant Gilmartin and Wild Bill, eventually returning to Chicago out of guilt before being reunited with Calamity.
