A Chinese American CIA operative ordered to escort a national treasure to the United States. He travels to Beijing, stays at a Shaolin temple, and faces initial cultural clashes. He befriends the abbot and a young monk, discovers the treasure is actually a parapsychic girl, and works to expose sinister forces while developing a romance with her.
