A deaf runaway searching for her brother Steve in San Francisco. She befriends a hippie band, discovers Steve's artwork, drinks a spiked drink, follows a clue to a shrine, witnesses Steve's death, hallucinates on a bridge, and is saved by Dave before being comforted by Stoney.
