Local Burmese ruler whose son is allegedly murdered by Jim Brecan. He initially demands Brecan's execution and sentences him to death. After Gwen Moore persuades him to read a letter from the deceased prince, he learns Brecan acted to contain a plague and subsequently pardons him, accepting the returned rubies.
