The protagonist who suffers severe mental illness after his girlfriend Anitha dies in an accident. He is involuntarily committed to a cruel mental hospital where he slowly recovers with the help of Dr. Unnikrishnan and Dr. Savithri, eventually falling in love with Savithri. After confronting his abusive doctor, he is lobotomized into a coma and later euthanized by Unnikrishnan.
