An insomniac automobile appraiser who attends support groups to cope with his dissatisfaction. He befriends Tyler Durden, starts an underground fight club, and later discovers Tyler is his split personality. He ultimately shoots himself to defeat Tyler and stops Project Mayhem's destruction.
