The protagonist of the film. Initially appearing as a young woman, she is later revealed to be an older, scarred traveler after years of searching. She discovers a baby dragon named Scales, bonds with him, and embarks on a perilous journey through dragon lands to rescue him after his capture. Her quest culminates in a tragic mistake when she kills the adult dragon, only to realize it is a grown Scales. She leaves heartbroken but is followed by his offspring.
