An elderly version of Jiro from the future who appears via a 3D video projection. After surviving a restaurant shooting that paralyzed him, he dedicates his life and lottery winnings to creating the cyborg girl. He sends her back in time to save his past self, prevent tragic accidents, and restore his timeline, ultimately guiding events that lead to his own redemption.
