Protagonist and skilled mechanic. After losing his factory job and accidentally working for a criminal gang, he decides to travel to the Netherlands to get arrested and serve a short prison sentence for safety. He modifies his car for the journey, successfully provokes his arrest by insulting the Queen and assaulting an officer, serves his four-month term, and later uses his ingenuity to defeat criminals upon returning home.
