The father and husband, currently unemployed and dreaming of opening a bike shop. He attempts to withdraw savings for Christmas shopping but is shot during a bank robbery by Harry Dickens. Though believed dead, he is miraculously rescued by Gideon and returns home, ultimately reconciling with his wife who finally supports his business dream.
