A close friend and ally of Goku who fights alongside him against Raditz, Nappa, Vegeta, and Frieza. He plays a key role in using the Spirit Bomb against Vegeta and accompanies Bulma and Gohan to Namek to revive the fallen. He is frequently killed and revived throughout the series' major conflicts.
