A scarred, mute witch known as the Wolf-Eateress who takes the infant Nevena and transforms her into a witch. She abandons Nevena after Nevena refuses to hunt, secretly watches her progress, and reveals her own tragic backstory involving betrayal and being burned alive. Driven by jealousy of Nevena's capacity for human love, she kills the baby but is ultimately slain by Nevena.
