Bill's younger brother and a former Air Force pilot. After working briefly on the ranch, he marries Pat Rogers and departs for Germany with the Air Force. He returns in 1948 and plays a pivotal role as the pilot of the first C-82 aircraft during the Operation Haylift rescue mission.
