An unfinished, ageless humanoid with scissor blades for hands, created by a reclusive inventor. Initially isolated in a Gothic mansion, he is brought into suburban society by Peg Boggs. He befriends neighbors with his grooming and sculpting skills, but faces suspicion and rejection after being manipulated by Jim into a burglary. He deeply loves Kim, protects her family, and ultimately kills Jim in self-defense before retreating to his mansion, where he continues to carve ice sculptures that produce snow.
