A plump, middle-aged, and reticent teacher who organizes the school trip to Salisbury Cathedral. The outing coincides with the 21st anniversary of proposing to his wife, whose engagement photo he carries in his wallet. After a pupil steals the wallet and Helen defaces the photo, Harvey initially reacts with grief and rage. Eventually, inside the cathedral, he shares the tragic story of his wife's suicide, ultimately finding closure and opening up to his colleagues and students.
