An old man trapped in limbo who volunteers to convince the reluctant baby soul Milo to be born in exchange for more time on Earth. He guides Milo through iconic NYC locations and gambling spots. Initially motivated by self-interest, he experiences deep remorse after learning Milo is his grandson, ultimately sacrificing his chance to stay on Earth to ensure Milo's safe delivery and ascension.
