An orphan brought into the Dane household after her parents die in the Tay Bridge disaster. Treated poorly by Selina, she catches the affection of both Rollo and Pelham. Frustrated by Rollo's hesitation and Selina's meddling, she marries the Marchese. She dies before the WWII events, leaving behind a letter that haunts Rollo.
