Originally disguised as an Arawak native, Varian is a pacifist, musician, and healer from the year 2230. He explains the island's space/time continuum and 'Time Zones' to the shipwrecked travelers. He becomes the de facto leader of the group as they navigate invisible gateways to find Evoland.
