The owner of the town's livery stable and a secret accomplice in the bank robbery. Overcome by guilt, he confronts and shoots the corrupt banker Clanton. He is subsequently arrested and confesses, inadvertently securing Cheyenne's freedom but facing a lengthy prison sentence himself.
