After discovering his brother Raghu's tragic past with Gita, he selflessly cares for the dying woman and bears false blame to protect Raghu's marriage. Later, he conceals Raghu's supposed death to safeguard his sister's wedding, ultimately earning his father's respect and reconciling with Janaki.
