A famous illusionist who lives in a manor known as the Spooky House. After his wife Dawn disappears during a performance, he isolates himself and uses tricks to scare visitors. He gradually befriends Max, helps a group of children retrieve stolen items, and sets elaborate traps on Halloween to defeat teenage bullies and their master. Ultimately, he reunites with Dawn, who was transformed into a jaguar, and officially adopts Max.
