A wealthy lawyer who courts and marries Elena, bringing her into his affluent Guadalajara family. He becomes entangled in her past conflicts, ultimately confronting her in Juárez where he is nearly killed by Lucio. He later seeks reconciliation and successfully reunites with Elena.
