Charles's former outlaw partner who was previously double-crossed by him. After saving a coach and impressing Lola, he is hired as a coach guard. He discovers Charles is Black Bart and rivals him for Lola's affection. He conspires with Jersey to rob a stage and frame Black Bart. During the relay station ambush, he forces Charles to accompany him and is ultimately shot dead.
