Taxi driver who initially lies about attending college. After recovering from illness, he returns to school, works at a resort to repay Masha for her sacrifices, and later enlists in the 14th Tank Division before switching to infantry. He leaves a note for Masha, gets briefly distracted by another girl, and eventually reunites with her during the Winter War.
