US Air Force base commander in Alaska assigned to seduce a Soviet pilot. He falls in love with Anna, marries her without permission, and helps her fake a crash to escape to the USSR. Captured and drugged by Soviets for interrogation, he deliberately provides outdated intelligence. After Anna learns of her pregnancy and the plan to wipe his memory, he escapes back to the US with her.
