A man driven to crime by police corruption and his father's humiliation at a station. After escaping arrest, he saves Inspector Prabha from a rooftop and falls in love with her. Despite her efforts to reform him, he escapes custody and resumes killing, ultimately being shot by Prabha to save another officer. His old fireman helmet becomes a lasting memento for her.
