The devoted wife and mother who suffers greatly after her husband's death and Bhanu's imprisonment. Believing her son is dead, she descends into madness, wandering the streets before becoming a maidservant in Rajan's household. She is eventually rescued and reunited with Bhanu through Meena's intervention.
