An orphan raised by soldier Vilna Lutz. After learning from a fortune teller that his sister Adele is alive, he embarks on a quest to find her by following a circus elephant. He completes three tasks for the King, ultimately choosing to help the elephant reunite with its family rather than pursue his sister immediately. He eventually reunites with Adele.
